I'm fine.
Broken. Abused. Hopeless.
Fine.

I'm fine.
Help me. Hug Me. Care for me.
Fine.

I'm fine.
Failure. Cutting. Crying.
Fine.

I'm Tired.
Suicidal. Depressed. Alone.
Tired

I'm not hungry.
Anorexic. Fat. Starving.
Not Hungry.

Smiling.
Sad. Trapped. Fake.
Smiling

She's in a happy place now.
No one asked. Killed Herself. Dead.
Happy Place

Everybody is "fine" or so they say. Who knows if fine really means suicidal?

NoMercy666, I want you to know something. I believe that writing is like art, and that art is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you can't see the art or beauty in something doesn't mean that somebody else can't. If you don't like it, then just don't read it. I, personally, liked it and found it short and bittersweet.

There is no way you can understand how complex this issue is without experiencing it. This is free verse poetry and I believe poetry is a way to express raw feeling and that is exactly what I did. If you or anyone near has ever self harmed, been suicidal, or have had an eating disorder I don't think that you would feel that this doesn't create emotion. This is a very sensitive issue that needs attention
