Trapped

I'm trapped in this viscous cycle
Of hurting, of hating, of pain
Trapped in a box with a blade
Drowning in the tears I shed
Suffocating from the fears
I will never break free
Of the weights and chains
Of my actions and consequences
Becoming numb to the world around
The closest to freedom I will ever get
Is the rush I get from the blood
That oozes out like a small smile
I can not breathe in this body
Wasting away at the seams
Ending it all would take too much courage
So I go on being alive
But can never live
