Before the herd fills all
Time and space
The streets are busy with
Carrots reaching to the sky
And plants lining up like soldiers
For the big parade
The aromas of pizza and tacos
Grow as the dogs arrive
Leading their people into the market

My parents sell furniture at our local farmer's market, so I've spent most of my saturdays during the summer at the market.
