What is a hero?
A true hero does not seek fame
He will be anonymous
Lacking appearance, voice and name
Forming a large distance no place to call home
The word outcast means selfless
Completely alone
He has no place among others
Perhaps he shines far to bright
Becoming brave in the darkness
And blind in the light
He will give the world peace
Exchanged for memories to keep
That leave him lying restless
With scantly any sleep
Caged like a leper
No cherished words to speak
Love's heat is too soft
And soft is too weak
As the black shadow is unwanted
On the pure white snow
So will our hero be
Reduced to a dim glow
A true hero must smile
Though cold and formal
Is the most miserable kind of man
It's far better to be normal.
