Lost My Breath
And then I lost my breath.
It seemed like ages since our eyes last met each others glance,
and then your touch was all my heart could take.
And then I lost my breath.
Your voice, intoxicating and enchanting called my name,
and said the sweetest of things.
And then I lost my breath,
when your friends even say that they know how you feel,
and say that it's obvious even to the blinded eye.
And then I lost my breath,
when I heard your elegant footsteps walk in my direction looking up just in time to see your beautiful face,
and your lips move to say that you wish you could stay.
And I lost my breath,
when you asked me to be forever and eternally yours,
and I replied yes.
And I loose my breath,
when your warmth wraps around me feeding my soul
I hope that you never go.
