I'm Sorry
You know me well, I'm a very apologetic soul
Though my forgiveness is sometimes just not there
I have doubts, as unlikely as it seems
I have some things I'd like to say
I'm sorry I ever doubted that you could leave
I'm shocked I didn't feel the will of the door
I thought it was locked
I'm surprised my actions did come back to haunt me
I'm surprised you read from a different book than mine
I'm stunned you could feel the color purple
I guess I'm sorry too, I'm stronger than I thought
And now weaker,
I'm sorry you waited so long to try
You'll be back
I'm so sorry I gave you the chance to go
