Ars Poetica
Why do you force it?
The words should come naturally.
The feeling of their weight on the tongue should move you.
The words should flow out of you,
Letting your raw emotion take flight.
A poem should say everything of importance in that moment,
While not speaking at all.
Say what you feel.
Speak the emotions that are so real.
Let the world know
Who you are
And where you've been.
But most importantly,
Tell them
Where
You're
Going
