Nerves are high, thoughts are focused.
Music starts.
Adrenaline pumps.
Position myself, absorb, toss with everything I have, catch.
First stunt done. Now a toe touch.
Pull my feet up. Point my toes.
Transition.
Another basket toss. Crowd gasps.
Final pyramid. Flyer wobbles, I pray. She holds.
Routine nailed.
Award ceremony. First place. Smiles, high-fives, applause.
I did it.
