Night Time
I lay under my blanket,
As the moon peeped out,
Of the misty white clouds
The beams entered my room
Falling on the spotless floor
Making the quiet room alight
Curiously, I stared out
Of the wide open window
And looked upon the space
Filled with smiling sparkling twinkly stars
As the clouds exchanged places
The moon played bo-peep with me
While the dewdrops on the grass below
The once green trees now silver
As the moon threw beams around the world
A cat purred in the depths far away
Lingering silvery in the moonlit landscape
The fog hid my round playmate once more
As I slept soundly like before!
