LIfe's Ride

Time has strapped me into
his roller-coaster of life and
refuses to set me free.
He has strategically placed
my demons in the darkest
tunnels of the coaster where
no one will hear my screams.
He has conveniently placed
my triumphs at the highest
point of ascension; among
the clouds for the world to see.
As the ride nears Time, I
struggle to grasp onto all
that has disappeared; my dreams.
