The Quiet is better than the noise,
Just like peace is better than chaos.

There's a Girl in my closet
She Cries and she weeps
There's a Girl in my closet
A broken heart she keeps

she Cries at midnight
till morning breaks through
She tells me her story
and what she used to do

Her eyes are like clouds
Tears like endless rain
Her cries are not loud
But she's hurting with pain

No-one ever listened
She she cried all alone
Hiding in my closet
The place she calls home

The girl in my closet told me a secret
and with all of my heart i vowed i would keep it
she told me a secret that made my toes curl
the secret she told me was I AM the little girl.

The author's comments:
i was feeling very down at the time and it felt as if no-one knew the real me, and when i showed the real me people only criticized and pointed out my flaws. so i kept the real me hidden, just like The Girl In My Closet.

I really like the rhythm to this, and it was beautiful in a sad way. Great job with the metaphor, it was cool.

God Makes No Mistakes. (Gaga?)
"I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right." -Liesel Meminger via Markus Zusac, "The Book Thief"

It was beautiful to read, you've expressed your thoughts so well! and the poem's quite relatable as well to me, awesome!
