Dancing with a Strumpet
The drugs you consume seem to bloom more than the dreams I desire.
I wished to blow you away to a world unbearably humane.
A world where you and I see the world as it sees us.
The indescribable beauty surviving in our cores and those tempting ashes you blow....
There goes my future beneath the belief of someone that mimics a mock harlot;
Someone who'll tell me apart the heart.
I beheld those feelings way too far beyond love, so now
Inside she can see the soul of my existence,
Yet all that exists is you and I,
Toying with the strings of emotional attachment,
In a game that none can win.
I can still visualize you as pure,
Not the polluted soul that you have become.
Where did you go?
