Laying Down
Lying there, lifeless.
Looking at the ceiling and talking to it.
The ceiling’s response is silence,
But the walls
The walls won’t stop talking.
You try your best to block them out,
But they only get louder.
The floor kicks and screams
“WHY ME!? WHY DO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS!?”
The door smacks the walls,
The window slams shut.
The floor and walls are getting louder by the minute,
The ceiling just sitting,
Watching in silence.
The floor and walls start to shake,
But the ceiling remains still.
Then you hear a loud noise and silence…
Nothing but loud silence,
Everything is pitch black.
Nothing to see,
Nothing to look at.
No more room,
No walls,
No floor,
No ceiling.
