Time To Be Young

I’ve been on this path forever
There were bumps that gave me bruises
Bruises that led to scars
Then, here I was trying
Trying to cover each of them up
But I’m done
It’s not worth it anymore
Because no matter how hidden
No matter how devastating
All the memories are there
Nothing is going to change that
So instead of trying to forget
I’m going to learn to live
Going to adapt to new situations
Because this path is always changing
So am I
People are always rearranging
Sometimes I don’t know why
All I’m here for
All I need
