Raindrops...
It'd been long since it rained
And I saw the thirst on natures face.
The soil and the leaves
They have all gone dry.
The winds cursed everything it passed by.
And the throats of frogs,
Who cried for rains to come
Have dried up too.
One morning was fine then.
And the chill breeze blew.
I opened my windows
And the raindrops fell upon me.
I saw the world jumping with joy.
I saw the trees and the bees.
They all smiled in merry.
"The rains have come..!!"
I could hear the frogs cry.
Nature is calm again.
Her sadness have dissolved.
The leaves have regained their greens
And the trees have woke up.
All forms of life-
are once again in their charm.
I could sense the vibrance of life again.
The drops of water which fell from the heavens
Have their work done.
The dried out world is refilled.
The hardened hearts are melting
As the raindrops seep through earths heart.
I felt that the disturbances are high.
But I could see through.
The raindrops reflected something
And I saw eyes of men and women
That shone with love and care.
I saw the rain,
I felt my home again...
