A Dead End
We all awake to a new day
For some, in complete dismay
We all come from different walks of life
But we all face a similar strive
We try to wash away the gulit and shame
And select one to take the blame
But the guilt seems to seep in
And the shame stays deep within
You feverishly try to forgive and forget
But those Devils have placed a bet
Betting you will break from your cage
And explode into a violent rage
You ignore most of your feeli ngs and place them above the ceilings
You look for answers in the sky
But you'll find deceit and start to cry
Your Devil watchesfrom afar
While you try to hide each and every scar
But the pain is to much to bare
And you fall into a pit of despair
To you He seems malevolent
But remember, no one here is innocent
And because of this you feel so bad
So you turn to Him and his worn out fad
In this pit you wollow and wail
Your face is white with a ghostly pale
You pray and scream for a second chance
But passerby give you not a single glance
