The sun rose
Shining through my window
And I saw you in a new light
I didn’t know what I was doing
I just knew it felt right
I looked to your eyes
And felt the urge
To grab your hand
To push myself into you
To smile
Because maybe if I smiled
I’d get to see yours
I felt the need to let you know
That I am ready
I am not scared
Go head, pursue me
I won’t stop you
Because the sun came out
Shining down on us both
You could call it a summer fever
Or call me crazy
But when I see you
I know
You’re a yes, not a maybe
