Falling
December 30, 2012
You are falling,
The world is black
You struggle against the invisible force
You know you cannot win
Yet so hard you try
Unwillingly, your eyelids falter
Your body gives up fight
Peace
Is given
As you fall
Into the black abyss
You don’t want to go there.
There are things left undone
Words unsaid
Deeds unthanked
They will need to wait until tomorrow
For you have been overtaken
Your captor?
Sleep.
