Incandescence
January 3, 2013
Shimmering sprites
Darting faeries
Eyes, open wide
The world is color, is sound, is light
Safe inside my head
I dream a world you wouldn't
comprehend.

This is beautiful! My favorite line is "the world is color, is sound, is light". That couldn't be truer. I don't know if it was on purpose, but your poem changes. THe beginning is very fantastic (meaning fantasy) and almost fairy-taleish. THe third and fourth lines change that and transform it into a realistic world. The sixth and seventh lines make it as real and it can get: pure imagination ruling over all. This is SO clever to think of. Great job!!
