Fear's Dwelling
All it takes is a fear
That drives me to insanity
An innocent horror
I'm fixated upon
Every hour in dwelling
It is there rooted down
Watching, mocking
Every mindless thing I do
Demanding that I end
The little faith I put in
To wherever my mind departs to
Instead I lay in the dark
And pretend I'm alive
For tomorrow's new beginning
To an exquisite presence
And left behind forever
Would be that stalking mind
That has taken possession
On a life I wish to know
Oh where can I find
Deep within myself-
A strange hope to conquer?
