Too many children said goodbye to their families
For the last time
This morning
Too many children
Got on the bus, in the car, or walked to school
For the last time
This morning
Too many children's innocence was broken
This morning
Too many children left this world
This morning
The largest grade school shooting in U.S. history
This morning

This was one of my first responses to the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting. Rest in peace little angels. Prayers for their families, friends, classmates, teachers.

This poem is amazing, and very sad. You didn a great job. My heart goes out to all kids and their families. I still can't believe this happened. But, good job!
