Face in the Mirror
I wish you’d go away,
you stare at me everyday.
My life was ruined because of you,
when you go away I will be born again, anew.
I wish you’d tell the truth,
we know I’m wrong we have the proof.
I made a mistake and I was wrong,
I cried as I listened to our song.
I wish you’d been here when I was down,
tumbled and crumbled to the ground.
A helping hand was all I’d need,
a path the follow while you lead.
I wish you’d shown me who you were,
so hearts weren’t broken just like her.
Is this really what you want to be,
the face in the mirror is really me.
