TRAYVON
Nobody knows what was wrong wit' him, brotha.
Nobody could tell you.
I cried when I heard 'bout it.
Cried my lil heart out, like it could bring you back or somethin'.
I dunno, Tray.
Some people are just f***ed up like that.
I didn't make it to the vigil.
I'm sorry.
I wanted to light a candle fo' you, to hold one lil flame against the black sky and say, "Trayvon, you will be remembered."
I couldn't make it, though.
Y'know, the waste of it all just hurts me.
You, so young.
You, so alive.
I could scream "Racist!" and "Evil," but I dunno if it'd help you, where eva' you are.
Nobody knows what was wrong wit' him.
I couldn't tell you.
Rest in peace always, Trayvon.
