FIRST DEGREE HALO
Well the masks are worn, and the streets shaded gray.
Yet I wouldn't have it any other way.
Our parents words are in our minds still,
But they're not here to pay our bills any more.
We're strangers just trying to make it on our own.
We've been burnt, and its blackened our halos.
The devil won't easily let us be,
And he brings the hurt in first degree.
So let's run away,
My love, will you flee with me?
We've been part of the sinister youth,
Who make their own rules.
And they always seem so intriguing,
Straight into your arms they have me running.
