Taken By Themselves
You took them,
Right from my grasp,
Ripping part of me away,
Leaving me empty handed,
I begged for there presence,
But in the end,
They decided,
I replay the smiles,
Wrapped and entwined,
Every word left unspoken,
Why?
Now?
There?
You?
Now I visit you,
Not the way I planed,
Not at all what I intended,
Missed by so many,
Left to the unknown,
Scared and shaken,
But left awakened,
Learning to choose life,
I will over come all strife,
Instead of reaching for the knife.
