Turning away
I once smiled when I saw your face
It was my sunshine
Something I could not replace
But now I turn
Turn away
But the days went dark and grey
I feel bond in these chains
That keeps me here
And Sometimes I just want to scream
Scream for the you I knew
But you don’t listen
Or see how much I miss you.
I once felt happy and so safe
In your arms
Your promises were true
And I knew who you were
But now I shutter
Shutter away
I feel these tears dripping down
And I know I can speak no sounds
Because the hits are still there on my skin
Tingling in my veins
And I wonder will you ever stop
Will I get you back?
I once smiled when I saw your face
And whispered my name
But now I don’t know
Because staying is as hard as leaving
When you I think of turning
Turning away.
