saying goodbye
i can see her bones.
the way her skin clings to every inch o her soul is a nightmare.
it's her worst enemy, but she calls it her best friend.
That led her to break within the promise of "perfect"; paper thin.
Not so much the goal of this race, but a result from letting her self waste away.
all the days and nights that she slowly drifted closer to God's arms,
withering away like a candle's flame.
none of us were strong enough to hold her up.
not even the stars in the sky were powerful enough.
it took nothing more than the wings of an angel to lift her up.
she's a miracle walking strong in the hands of God.
