The Power Of Twisted Words
Words float like poison in the air,
Filing the halls with no one to spare.
Even I am effected at last,
With hurtful words that have destroyed my past.
Ugly, poor, dirty, sap,
They hurt me like I'm receiving a slap.
I only clench my books even tighter,
I try to bring peace for I'm not a fighter.
No pain in the world could bring me to this,
To harm someone with words or even my fist.
I have to remember they are no smarter than I,
That they are probably struggling to get by.
Their words taunt and make me believe,
That to a point they are right and I should concede.
Then a thought comes to my head,
That I am perfect, not another word said.
To all of the bullies that have tormented me,
Look closely for this is something you should see.
I may be ugly but I'm pretty inside.
So now my face is nothing to hide.
I may not be rich but this too is true,
At the very least I am richer than you.
Dirty? I am never nor have been that way.
At least I wash my hair day to day.
Finally, sap is the last one of the ball,
A sap is truly someone who snitches on all.
