Its the scars that remain
In the most secret places I hide my scars
In the darkest of creases
thats where they are
They lie in my heart
right next your name
as I fall apart
its the scars that remain
when I cry in bed
from things I've been through
stuck in my head
are images of you
I whisper a prayer
straight up from hell
I'm a girl that doesn't care
that's a lie; can you tell?
I hide all my feelings and my convincing lies seem true
I don't want to hide things
at least not from you
you're what kept me sane
but now that you're gone
all I feel is this pain
Just talking to you
made this hurt disappear
But now you've left me
and I'm all alone here
So once again I fall apart
a new scar is made
another mark on my heart
