Thunder
A rumbling growl echoes softly through the valley. Little droplets cover the ground. A peaceful silence seems to warm the cool breeze. A blanket of fog seems to settle. The storm calms my troubled mine. It is a place of refuge. The leaves seem to flutter reminding me of all the memories. I close my eyes as the fog envelopes me. I smile as I hear the thunder, it seems to understand me. I seem to see your face in every whisp of the fog. I feel so far away, but I feel closer than ever. The fog overhead slowly drifts onward on a never-ending sea of air. The soft touch of raindrops feels so good on my face. I can't help but wish that this storm would never end.
