The Truth Is Frozen
I wish you would all look at me,
See the shining star I want to believe is there.
Damn you all.
You were such good liars.
Damn myself.
I wanted so hard to believe you.
It's always someone else,
I'm just the stepping stone.
When am I going to be at the top of the ladder?
When am I gonna be the gold?
What kind of advice could sugar coat that?
Silence now...
Because the truth is frozen,
It's choking.
Now you all know what uncomfortable means.
Can you understand now?
I crave to think you know what I mean,
But I've always craved...
I've always wished...
I've always wanted
And cried for it.
I've even fought for it...
But winning isn't in the pages for me.
I can write out my heart,
But it won't change anything.
I'll be blunt so you can all see,
There is no light waiting to shine,
So don't tell me there is.
I already love you,
And I don't want to hate you
Because you don't love me.
