broken
broken smiles fill the streets broken smiles on the faces of the friends i meet i see the lies i see through the smoky haze i see there sorrow see their pain i wish to set them free to mend their broken light to make it shine bright but its so hard to do when thousands line the streets i do my best help everyone i can but in the end 100s more walk on by broken smiles and lying eyes such is the way of this dark world it needs some light to spread the life and mend the broken wings chase away the sorrow and bring upon a brighter tomorrow
