Never be
What I thought was wrong.
How you dance to a different song.
That I no longer crave for.
How I will never wait for it to make sense.
Pull myself out of this dense mess.
Because what I thought was wrong.
I’ve waited to you for too long.
To sweep me off my feet
And hold me tight in a heartbeat.
But you cheated me into believing.
we we're something to achieve.
we were something to be.
But we did never exist.
I should have seen the warning sign.
The flashing lights and the uneasy glares
What starts in fun always ends in tears
A little whisper makes a whole lot of rumors and lies.
What I thought was wrong.
How you dance to a different song.
That I no longer crave for.
How I will never wait for it to make sense.
Pull myself out of this dense mess.
Because what I thought was wrong.
