Fare thee well, Summer
Too many video games yet unbeaten,
too many snacks yet uneaten.
Too many parties yet to attend,
not enough relaxing for days on end.
Not enough time spent on a whim,
not enough time to make more Sims.
Too many books yet unread,
Too many conversations yet unsaid.
Too much swimming yet un-swum,
Not enough time spent laying in the sun.
Too much sleep yet un-slept,
I thought of these things, and I wept:
For too fast time flew; too quickly spent
Before I knew it, summer came and went.
