Land of Dreams
I know of a place.
A place where with the right words
Fairies will dance on your shoulder
Dragons will breathe fire to warm you
And life is at your disposal.
A place with a fertile field that makes all these things true.
And words flow as water in a river bed.
Now,
With my pen and paper as a bucket
And my mouth as the tipping motion that pours the water over the field that is your hungry ears waiting to suck the meaning out of every word I speak,
Let me take you to this place.
Where the water is clear as glass,
Where the sky is blue and speckled with clouds.
Where no one wants to fight
And life is more precious than gold.
Let me take you to your dreams
To your minds
And to your hearts
