He Listened
Listened to me
Thought I could breathe
Someone finally heard me
He made me believe
But I found out it was
All a waste of time
Every word he said turned out to be
Another lie
The times he seemed to care
Just waiting for the right moment to
Poison the air
Can't image a time when I
Praised his words
Trusted him not a doubt in my mind
Saw the sky blue or were those just the tears i longed to cry
Letting my walls give in
praying love would slip in
Left me with only regret
No goodbye
No reasons why
Nothing to wipe my eyes
But if you clicked rewind
I'd again fall for his lies
He broke my heart
He listened to me
He helped me breath
He heard me
He brought me back to life
He hurt me most of all
I loved him and yet he is nameless
After all the things
Will he listen to my poem and remember me
