The Bard
Poems and plays
Sonnets and sayings
There once was a man who did them all
The Bard he was fondly called
For writing plays he had a knack
And in true talent he never lacked
From Hamlet to Othello to Twelfth Night
And thirty-seven more he did write
A true poetical pioneer,
He was an accomplished sonneteer
He wrote on love and death and time
And yes, indeed, he could rhyme.
Even as time passes year by year
He will always be remembered as
William Shakespeare
