Hope.
In a lonely forest clearing
As a storm rages near
Sat a quiet little pond
Reflecting the moon
Cool and clear
With calm ripples in its depths
An opposite world
For a soul
A yin and yang balance
Was the deep and magical pool
In the fog of the storm
Sits that glowing
Little light
In the blackened forest clearing
Glowing, crisp and bright
Looking at it now
It's that worth-while light
At the end of the darkness
It's the little bit of hope
That in my heart
Used to be the farthest
