When I'm Gone
When I’m gone,
Will you remember me,
And what we never were, but wanted to be?
Floating away,
Sailing high,
Will you remember me at all, or is it just goodbye?
I’ve told you before,
The way I feel, but you turned me down,
Now I’m leaving this town.
Intending to restart, remake,
Myself, my feelings, everything I’ve done wrong,
Because you, and me don’t belong.
When I’m gone,
Will you remember me,
And what we almost were, but couldn’t be?
