Falling Fast
I used to believe
that I would never
fall foolishly head over heels.
That I would always
be strong and independent;
Not weak at the sight of you
and relying on you're love
to keep me going.
But here I am,
stealing glances,
taking chances,
stuck in the clouds,
heart pounding loud,
jumping around wildly,
smiling at you shyly...
I used to think that
I'd never be one to
be caught in love's trap
but here I am,
falling fast.
