Alone Meadow
I would be walking
By the meadow green
Reaching for a flower
Perfect in my hand
Tall grass arching in
The warm summer breeze
Blowing through my hair
Brushing my cheeks
Close my eyes
And spread my wings
Safe am I
Dancing blindly through the
Meadow
coming softly in and out
Of focus
Sun streaks the sapphire sky
To the edge where old meets new
Where familiar meets unknown
Both are good places
And I come home
