The journey and message of a diamond
A dark place was my home
Among many a hard dull rocks
Placid stream over slimy stone
And often it used to mock-
"I'm beautiful and loved
Dearly loved and cherished
Though at times beheld with fear
For when the diamonds fall
From the highest call
In my joy all may perish"
to be free, then, was my desire
fulfilled when they visited my abode
With many a machine and wire
And took me to the road
That led to several machine
With the sole purpose to refine
And treat them till they shine,
Oh my! I looked divine!
And now i sit on a perfumed hand
Often stared at by two blue spheres
i observe the children on the sand
To find a face with the stream's sneer
"I promise you'd be discovered
And with your kind of machines
You'd be covered
As they polish away and refine
Till from within you shine
But oh son of Adam!
Don't forget the duty of thine
And waters with depths unfathomed
Are best left alone with time

I think it is very important that for everyone to realize that they are unique and special and yet(in some ways) remember that they are like any other human. It makes a person down to earth and special in a unique way.
Suggestions are welcome.
