54 Years and 4 kids later your life came to an end
The sweetness of your voice pierced the hearts of all around
When your son my father sees my face he always says
Your picture is an exact copy
He was only fourteen when you had to leave
The image of you stains his soul
He always says we are one and the same
Cut from the same cloth stubborn in the same ways
Nonna I miss you even though we have never met
But I swear you would love me like I now love you
