"Lost in a Sea of Love" by Andrew Malta
Destiny is a child’s toy, played with and thrown asunder.
As I’m sent from a far off deploy, on paths and favors undiscovered.
My writing is my only release, a ladder upon nylon coasts.
When it forks in the land beneath the sea, at once I am truly lost.
I have a million paths to go, but I’m expected to know the one.
If the wrong path is taken, as it may be, a worried mind soon has begun.
A heart split down the center, and I own neither piece, so I turn to scramble.
I weather in search of the native piece, and there I am bound to ramble.
