Puppy Love
He’s wonderful
He’s beautiful
He’s oh so very sweet
He’s picture perfect
Gentle, kind
And everyday we meet
We’re meant to be together
He loves my friends
And he’s so cool
We’ll be a pair forever
Secrets and long phone calls
Just the one for me
I don’t really know true love
But this is good enough, I think
We’ll try new things
New people
We still try to be friendly
But when I see him my cheeks turn pink
Did we just break up?
I thought love lasted forever
They call it puppy love
First kisses, tears, and drama
Holding hands and phone calls
Parents knowing smiles
Maybe it didn’t last forever
But I sure enjoyed the ride
You’ll know true love when you find it
We learn of it from trials
