Three Simple Words
Living alone, and seeing you in stone hurts.
It pounds into my heart like a wrecking ball.
I come for a visit on a dead day.
I cry over your grave.
The cold wind freezes the tears on my cheeks.
The beautiful roses I brought bring beauty to the lonely, and dark place.
The wind swirls my hair as I try and hide from my inner demons.
I fall to my knees in front of your stone, as my heart breaks once more.
A small rain begins to fall, and begins to blend in with my falling tears.
In my hand I have a piece of paper.
I have written three simple words.
I MISS YOU.
Those are the words that decorate the paper.
I begin to cry.
I scream into the wind, as my heart breaks.
I NEED YOU
These are three simple words.
Nothing will ever make me feel alright.
The cold stings my throat as I begin to sing into the January air.
The three last words are the ones that makes everytihng feel close to alright.
The three simple words.
I LOVE YOU
