'Splantion
Fear gnaws at my insides
Leaves a stabbing pain
Makes me feel helpless
Against him and his rage
How do I know when it will happen?
How do I know I will live?
And what about you?
The knowing is worse
Knowing it started already
Knowing he sees you as a threat
Knowing you’re a target
Knowing it won’t be long
But one thing’s for certain
It has to be before the fall of June
Before a summer away from him and his rage
I will see the flash of silver
A knife flying through the air
Aimed at either you or me
I’m not sure
Everyone says I’m paranoid
“That’s never going to happen.”
Everyone says
I know they’re wrong
Even you don’t believe me
It’s May
I can’t help but wonder
“What if I’m not ready, ready to face the knife,
Ready to die,
For a war I was drafted into?”

Thank you.
I truthfully never wrote this to be published, just as a 'splanation. It was published as an after thought
Thank you
