Empty Individual
I see through your frail glitter armor,
Your blunt eyeliner sword,
And every taunt you spit at me
Because I do not attempt the same old masks.
I see through your three inch thick
Glob of attitude,
The one you apply to your face every day
To make yourself feel pretty.
You may try to conceal who you are,
But I see through,
I see through and I feel bad.
Oh yes,
I pity you,
For what I see
Is that for every blow you redirect at me
Two more hit home,
Hit you,
For all the same reasons.
I see you,
And I see them,
And I see me,
But all there really is to look at
Is a great big circle,
We all are busy following along.
