Love and a Poem
The hills were rolling;
No matter how hard we tried
We couldn't seem to take our eyes
Away.
From the green grass,
Which smelled like dew,
The water cascading down the cliff,
That sounded like the ocean,
Or the hills,
Those rolling hills.
The grass was singing;
No matter how hard we tried
We couldn't seem to take our eyes
Away.
From the flowers in the breeze,
Which smelled like perfume,
The drops of rain on the leaves,
That sounded like bubbles,
Or the grass,
That singing grass.
Love was in the air,
All around us, everywhere.
