Favorite Quote:
I am paraphrasing, of course. "My only fear is that when they are turned to loving they will find we are turned to hating." -Reverand Msimangu, Cry, The Beloved Country (a book by Alan Paton)

The hills were rolling;
No matter how hard we tried
We couldn't seem to take our eyes
Away.

From the green grass,
Which smelled like dew,
The water cascading down the cliff,
That sounded like the ocean,
Or the hills,
Those rolling hills.

The grass was singing;
No matter how hard we tried
We couldn't seem to take our eyes
Away.

From the flowers in the breeze,
Which smelled like perfume,
The drops of rain on the leaves,
That sounded like bubbles,
Or the grass,
That singing grass.

Love was in the air,
All around us, everywhere.

This piece was inspired by a dream I had once of myself and my husband... Not sure who he was, because my dream blocked out his face, but we were in a meadow/forest area and these are the things that I saw/hear/smelled. It was so life like and real...
