Rain, Rain, Rainbow
I, you said, was the rain.
I embraced you when you were dancing in the drizzles,
I cleansed your soul when you wanted to come clean,
I washed away your tears when you were crying,
I kissed you gently at times when you felt helpless.
I gave you all that I had, you said, but not what you wanted.
She, you say, is the rainbow.
She, you say, has done nothing for you at all.
But after the rain, you say, comes the rainbow.
The rainbow, you say, symbolizes a brand new day.
And needless to say,
She gives you what you desire.
She gives you hope.
